Deeper Quant and Institution analysis remains under Civic³ access controls; a contribution does not unlock it. Accepted factual submissions may improve free pages and also support gated research. We retain sources and dated corrections.

What can I contribute or contest?
A missing seat or officially listed contest/candidate; a dated officeholder or authority fact; an enacted budget fact with its period; or a correction to an identified public claim. Each needs a primary URL you opened, date and page/section locator. A privacy concern uses the separate safety-review process. No home addresses, identity documents, private individuals, personality guesses or numerical political ratings. Supporting images and small PDFs use the separate private evidence upload after a verified request receives its receipt.

After verified submission, add up to three files to the receipt: still WebP images or PDFs, at most512KiB each. JPEG/PNG/WebP images are resized to1600px and re-encoded locally before upload; original camera metadata is not copied. Provide a claim reference, provenance, caption/date and reuse rights or “unknown.” Own photographs can be identified as own_work; rights remain subject to review. Larger documents should be cited by source link.
Files are private and unapproved. PDFs are not malware-certified and are not displayed inline. No face image, rights declaration or upload automatically becomes a public portrait. Do not include private/sensitive information.

What happens after verified submission?
Structure check → private receipt → factual/source and privacy review → owner accepts the reviewed packet and attachments into private Ocean Intake → separate canonical/card review and owner-controlled publication. A structurally valid packet remains unverified evidence. Login, identity verification and bot screening are separate gates. No upload changes a card, applies a score or publishes automatically; no turnaround time is promised.
Challenge a claim by identifying its page/reference, the disputed fact, a sourced replacement and the relevant date. Corrections retain earlier versions and their reasons. We do not settle factual disputes by popularity.
